Taog’s Hangar just dropped a trailer and a release date. The AS365 Dauphin is out on June 30th, 2026. That’s four days from now.

For anyone who’s been following this project since October 2024 — and there are a lot of us — this feels slightly surreal. Twenty months of development, quiet Discord updates, the occasional cockpit screenshot that made the community collectively lose its mind, and now suddenly there’s a trailer and a date on the calendar. It’s happening.

The package itself is something else. Nine variants, civil and military, spanning the standard AS365 N2 and the US Coast Guard’s HH-65 Dolphin. Two completely distinct cockpits — the analog French configuration and the modern Dolphin instrument suite. Night vision goggles, which almost no MSFS add-on has even attempted. A working rescue hoist. Career Mode integration. The kind of feature list that makes you wonder how one developer pulled it all together.

The HH-65 Dolphin is what really sets this apart. The Coast Guard variant turned out to be significantly more work than expected — different enough from the base AS365 that Taog spent months getting it right instead of shipping something half-baked. That’s exactly the kind of decision that separates a forgettable release from one people are still flying two years later.

One thing worth knowing upfront: this is MSFS 2024 exclusive, Marketplace only. No SimMarket, no Orbx, no workaround. If you’re still on 2020, this one isn’t for you. A tough call, but an honest one.
